Unlike ordinary paints, POR-15 Rust Preventative Coating is designed to be applied right onto rusty surfaces, leaving a beautiful, rock-hard finish that won't crack, chip or peel.

  • POR 15 loves rust. Coat it on rusty frames, floor pans, farm equipment, underwater marine items, corroded battery trays, and more.
  • POR15 Rust Preventative Coating is a great Chassis Paint. Once POR 15 is used, gravel roads have little effect on the finish.
  • For new metal, use POR "Metal Ready" to prepare the surface for POR-15 Rust Preventative Paint.

HOW TO:

  1. Remove loose rust and degrease the surface with a water-based Cleaner Degreaser
  2. Neutralize rust and etch with Metal Prep.
  3. After thorough washing and drying, coat with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, right onto the rust.
  4. Topcoat with Top Coat, 2K Urethane, or other top coat of your choice.
  5. Now you have a PERMANENTLY repaired surface that will NOT rust again.

Ensure application of this product takes place in an area with adequate ventilation, and that respirator masks and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are worn.
